Abstract

Sumatera Barat's NTP in January 2025 was 132.69 or an increase of 0.40 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which rose by 1.11 percent, greater than the increase in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) of 0.70 percent.
The Sumatera Barat Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in January 2025 was 135.42 or an increase of 0.78 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
In January 2025, the NTP for each subsector was recorded at 101.13 for the food crops subsector (NTPP), 149.49 for the horticulture subsector (NTPH), 173.51 for the smallholder plantation crops subsector (NTPR), 107.46 for the livestock subsector ( NTPT), and 94.77 for the fisheries subsector (NTPN). The fisheries subsector is divided into two, namely the capture fisheries and aquaculture subsectors with NTP of 97.38 and 92.77 respectively
