Abstract

  • In September 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Sumatera Barat Province was 1.52 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.12.
  • The highest inflation occurred in Dharmasraya Regency at 2.85 percent with a CPI of 107.00 and the lowest occurred in Padang Municipality at 1.28 percent with a CPI of 106.02. 
  • On a month-to-month (m-to-m) basis Sumatera Barat Province experienced deflation of 0.44 percent in September 2024. Until September 2024, year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation in Sumatera Barat Province was 0.15 percent
