Abstract

The value of exports originating from Sumatera Barat in February 2024 was US$159.43 million, an increase of 19.16 percent compared to exports in January 2024.
The most exported category of goods in February 2024 was animal/vegetable fats & oils (HS 15) amounting to US$123.42 million, followed by the vegetable materials category (HS 14) amounting to US$11.83 million, and the rubber and rubber goods category (HS 40) amounting to US$6.45 million.
The import value of Sumatera Barat in February 2024 was US$56.03 million, an increase of 51.29 percent compared to imports in January 2024. The largest category of imported goods in February 2024 was mineral fuel (HS 27) amounting to US$32.34 million.
