Farmer Exchange Rate (FER) of Sumatera Barat Province in Januari 2024 was recorded at 116.49 and the Price of Harvested Dry Grain at the Farmer Level fell 0.98 percent

Sumatera Barat's NTP in January 2024 was 116.49 or an increase of 0.98 percent compared to the previous month's NTP.
    The increase in NTP was due to an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which rose by 0.89 percent, and the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.09 percent.
    The Sumatera Barat Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in January 2024 was 116.04 or an increase of 0.72 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
    In January 2024 the NTP for each subsector was recorded at 105.42 for the food crops subsector (NTPP), 115.70 for the horticulture subsector (NTPH), 134.02 for the smallholder plantation crops subsector (NTPR), 106.36 for the livestock subsector ( NTPT), and 93.88 for the fisheries subsector (NTPN). The fisheries subsector is divided into two, namely the capture fisheries and aquaculture subsectors with NTP of 98.26 and 90.57 respectively.
