Abstract

  • The inflation rate for the combined calendar year of 2 cities in Sumatera Barat in January 2021 is 0.12 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate is 1.63 percent. This figure is formed from a combination of 2 CPI cities in West Sumatra, namely Padang City and Bukittinggi City. 
  • In January 2021, the city of Padang experienced inflation of 0.10 percent or an increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 105.38 in December 2020 to 105.49 in January 2021. 
  • The inflation rate for the calendar year in Padang City for January 2021 was 0.10 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate of 1.57 percent. 
  • Meanwhile, in the City of Bukittinggi, there was inflation of 0.30 percent or an increase in the CPI from 104.82 in December 2020 to 105.13 in January 2021. 
  • The inflation rate for the calendar year for the City of Bukittinggi in January 2021 was 0.30 percent and the inflation rate for the year year by 2.08 percent
