Sumatera Barat's Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in February 2019 was recorded at 97.75 and Harvest Dry Grain Prices at the Farmer Level fell 0.64 percent

Sumatera Barat NTP in February 2019 was recorded at 97.75, up 0.68 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 97.10 (January 2019). The price index received by farmers (It) increased by 0.26 percent and the price index paid by farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.41 percent.
In February 2019 the NTP of each subsector was recorded at 98.52 for the food crop subsector (NTPP), 79.66 for the horticulture sub-sector (NTPH), 103.43 for the smallholder plantations subsector (NTPR), 102.31 for the livestock subsector (NTPT), and 107.55 for the fisheries subsector (NTPN). The fisheries sub-sector is divided into two, namely the capture fisheries and aquaculture sub-sectors with NTP of 110.99 and 106.71 respectively.
In February 2019 the average grain price of GKP quality at the farm level decreased by 0.64 percent from Rp 5,915.57 per kg (January 2019) to Rp 5,877.74 per kg (February 2019), and at the grinding level it decreased amounting to 0.72 percent from Rp 6,020.52 per kg (January 2019) to Rp 5,977.40 per kg (February 2019).
