Abstract

Deflation in Padang Municipality occurred because of a decrease in the index in 3 (three) expenditure groups, namely: foodstuffs group by 0.97 percent, clothing group by 0.11 percent.

Bukittinggi Municipality, deflation occurred in 2 (two) expenditure groups namely the foodstuffs group at 1.21 percent.

In August 2021, Padang City experienced deflation of 0.10 percent and Bukittinggi City experienced deflation of 0.27 percent. On an aggregate basis, Sumatera Barat (Combined 2 Cities) experienced 0.13 percent deflation
